Its navigation abilities are also decent, but it can get stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can mitigate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). Mopping capabilities are quite good with a pair of spinning mop pads that lift and scrub the floor, rather than just drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water, and dried in the basestation when needed. Mops can also be filled at the top of the station if they are required.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-free maintenance which makes it a strong contender on our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure that an efficient, custom-designed clean is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing fine and large debris from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned the dirtiest areas well, avoiding tangled pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that is placed along baseboards.

Even though it's not able to mop floors, the Q5 offers the most impressive mopping and best automatic vacuum cleaner performance we've seen from a robotic at this price. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It has a smart app that lets you schedule cleaning times and set the floor type. It also has an automatic vacuum cleaner water tank filling system and washing system to allow hands-free operation.

Its mops are also impressive with their 2700Pa power to combat pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 is one of the few robots we test that didn't have issues with high-pile carpets or area rugs, but it couldn't clean up cat litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we have tested. It also has a unique method to map your home. This will allow it to enter corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach.
