Some go even further and include various bespoke storage units. The desk can be moved between the two units with wheels. There are also four drawers of storage and two cabinets with doors. A ladder that is able to be rotated and a desk with wheels that can slide in and out, and three drawer cabinets and a chest are all included. Some midi loft beds that have storage come with a desk already integrated into the bunk (as illustrated in the photo above) and others, like our Luna midi bunk have the ladder on the right side, so that the desk can be placed to the left (please ask in store, or on the phone or add this in the comments section when you're shopping in case this is important to you).

Most midi loft beds require a standard UK Single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with a wooden base. The cost of the bed doesn't include the mattress. We recommend looking at our mattress deals to find one that will fit your budget.

Mattress

Most midi beds are compatible with standard UK single mattresses, and the top bunk comes with a safety rail that gives you additional security. Some models come with an amazing pull-out drawer that can be used for sleepovers or additional storage space beneath the bed. They can be either open or equipped with doors (please check the product's specifications for more details).

Many midi cabins come with a desk that can be moved from one level to another, or chests. This gives children a customized space to store all their belongings, and you don't have to take up valuable floor space with heavy shelving units or wardrobes.

Some models have gone a step further with cabinets that are flush mounted or even part of the headboard/footboard. This is perfect for storing toys and books.
