The X40 Ultra is also the only robot we tested that can fully self-refill and empty its base station and it boasts the industry's highest suction of 12,000Pa and self-cleaning mop pads.

The X40 as with other iRobot products, is easy to operate. It has an easy mobile application interface, and it is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. The only drawback is that it's still quite a noisy unit that could be problematic if you run it in the morning before work or at night as you attempt to sleep.

It's also quite expensive, though it's not as expensive as Ecovacs X2 Omni or Roborock's S8 MaxV Ultra Both of which are similarly capable and better-looking. It's a dual-purpose vacuum that is very efficient however it's more expensive and create more noise.

4. iRobot Roomba L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is the top-of-the best automatic vacuum cleaner robot vacuum and mop. It comes with a variety of features that are advanced and will make you forget about your chores. It also mopses with one pad, which uses a reciprocating motion, which cleans better than most of the other mop cleaners for robots we've tried. It's also highly self-sufficient, with a full-featured app and a self-emptying base that can be washed.
