World of Warcraft Upgrades

Upgrades are the components that can be added to equipment to provide it with various bonus effects. Upgrades can include anything from stat boosts to increased proc chance of amazing effects of equipment to stat boosts.

The upgrade system for items works a little differently than you are familiar with from other MMORPGs. This guide will explain the basics of the system and give some tips and tricks.

Rerolling

A player can upgrade items like weapons, armor and trinkets up to level 9 by visiting an upgrader NPC. These NPCs are accessible through a map search or talking to a vendor. The intersection method is a method of comparing two sets and keeps only the items that are shared by both. It can also be combined with other methods, like the & operator.

A tuple, or list, is a type of collection that allows duplicate values. Sets are distinct from other collections since they do not have duplicate members. They serve as lists of data. Utilizing sets to represent a list could save a lot of space, especially when working with large datasets. Sets are easy to program, and allow you to perform advanced maths using Python.
