World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the weapon's upgrade template is in %, the weapon will increase an additional 3% of the previous attack damage each time it is upgraded.

Item upgrading costs crests and the current level of the item. The cost increases as the item's level increases.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into armor, weapons and trinkets to give a stat bonus or extra effect while they're in use. These can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors trading or looting. Some upgrades can also be accompanied by special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment that has a slot to accommodate them; the item must be at the very least upgraded to blue level in order for the component to be inserted. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied only once. They are not able to be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and enrichments are a special kind of upgrade items component that is that is used to upgrade item non-amulet ascended or legendary equipment, as well as some of the back items that are not ascending. Infusions and Enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment from the ascended state or by completing a mission within the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix can be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item it is applied to (for example, 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' becomes Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, which lets players to create stronger versions using fewer Upgrade crystals than they would require to achieve the same level using normal methods.

A 'boost upgrade' can modify the attack or defense properties of a weapon, or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist the upgrades can be crafted at the Portative Forging Station. They can be dropped by enemies while upgrading other gear or by purchasing them in the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals each.

The player is able to have up to five boost upgrades at a time. Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a better-quality version of the item will drop during the next reset. This gives players the opportunity to upgrade their gear, even when they're not sure how much it can be improved upon the reset.

Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process can be costly and there is a substantial risk that the item may be obsolete or even break if it fails; a failed upgrade will destroy the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to decrease or eliminate the chance of failure. Some upgrades also offer the player a bonus if they are they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs boost the power of all nodes within a radius around them as well as existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded in numerous ways. We recommend upgrading them as quickly as you can to level 15.

It is commonplace to see in the endgame that putting Glyphs is the best method to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded straight to level 15 and offer significant boosts to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to climb higher nodes much faster.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced, however, Glyphs are only the one upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without any restrictions. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires an Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.

Each Glyph has a particular range of values it can improve a statistic by. The value is shown when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with another Glyph that is the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase, with certain unlimited-use tools, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt has the chance of dropping one of the numerous Glyphs as well as some rare Glyphs that can be found in the form of drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Once you have the desired Glyphs You will need to place them on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that will boost a specific set of stat nodes in a radius surrounding the Glyph. Based on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

The use of a Glyph can boost all nodes that are linked to it, and you should try to place your Glyphs near the most important nodes of the Graph to maximise the impact. Druids for instance, should place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might be able to place them near their primary damage nodes.

Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to improve the stats of certain items by placing upgraded components into them. This is known as "upping". Each upgradeable item is assigned a level which determines the final statistics. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each level of an item requires different components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require a specific ingredient to activate. This ingredient can be obtained by making Upgrade Recipes. These recipes are available in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or obtained from NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed will result in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to level the item. Once enough are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades an item it is replaced with a different item of the same kind. This means that the same armor piece will get a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own set bonus. This can be a downside, as the item can be more expensive even if you do not need it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled if the player has enough tokens in order to do so. The item will be replaced by an entirely new item upgrader mod that has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This is a good option for some items, but it shouldn't be repeated often, as it can waste a lot of resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled multiple times, increasing their value and allows the player to modify their equipment. A good example of this is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an increase in power when a player repeatedly enters and exits water (or swims like a dolphin). This item can be upgraded many times, increasing the maximum roll every time by 10 increments. This item is very useful in PvP. A perfectly rolled version can be worth 50 times the value of the non-upgraded counterpart.

Requirements

Item upgrading allows players to upgrade the quality of their equippable gear--armor, weapons and trinkets over ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate items and currencies to an NPC that upgrades items. Upgrading armor set pieces will also increase the base defense of the item, and upgrading weapons will increase the damage base and the strength and dexterity required to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

Each item can be upgraded a maximum of five times, except for hero gear that can be upgraded with eight upgrades. Every time you upgrade an object it is at risk of failing. The failure rate increases as you go over the maximum number. Failures will cause the item to revert to its original state, requiring the player to spend more money on materials than they would have to had they stopped upgrading at the maximum amount of upgrades.

If an item fails to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. In addition, the item will lose any bonuses it gained such as crit chance and attack damage, as well as any other effects that are associated with that effect (for instance, a higher healing over time or reload speed). The player will be able to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied in order from lowest to highest. This means that when a weapon gains an increase in its crit chance, the increase is applied prior to any increase in attack damage. A new attribute known as Slots is now added to the definition of the item and the value is recomputed each time an upgrade is applied.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item are determined by its rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The upgrade cost for non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For instance, a standard equipment item may have five upgrades with a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero grade items will come with a much lower cost for each upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements in comparison to standard equipment. For instance, they may require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. The player will still need to take every piece of equipment they wish to upgrade to the NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each upgrade of equipment requires different amounts of ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the expenses listed above.
