Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects carpets, and the dual side brush helps to remove debris from corners.

The mopping performance is a little less impressive, though not by a lot. The mop rotates at a high rate and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scraping away dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arm extends out a little more than other robots. This is useful in narrow corners or on baseboards. The front arms can also be used to scoop up larger debris such as books and toys that have been damaged.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot vacuum cleaner uk mops and vacuums I've tested. It doesn't produce the same volume of sound while vacuuming or mopping and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it must utilize a specific mopping solution and is sold separately. It is easy to install and works well. The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive item in our review. However, it does have certain unique features that make it worth looking into. The X1 Omni's main draw is its huge dock, which serves as the robot's charging base and housing for two water tanks, a clean sink, and an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically empties.

The base has a few control buttons, which allow you to manually start cleaning tasks and then recall the Robot Vacuums that mop or run the dock's best automatic vacuum and mop emptying procedure. Press two buttons to turn off the child lock. This is a nice feature for parents worried about their children playing with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums, the Omni Omni utilizes its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path, and then avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than laser detection systems and is four times more accurate in recognising objects.

It's a significant change from the utilitarian black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing view in a market which is dominated by clunky boxy models.
