There's another update on Mason Greenwood...
United chief executive Richard Arnold told senior staff that Mason Greenwood would be returning to the club two weeks ago, according to reports.
The Red Devils carried out a six-month internal investigation after the 21-year-old striker's charges of attempted rape, assault and coercive control were dropped in February.
Arnold reportedly informed United's leadership team of the plan to bring back Greenwood, who has been out of action since his arrest in January 2022, two weeks ago on August 4.

A Manchester United chief has broken silence on Mason Greenwood's future at Old Trafford, insisting the club has performed a 'detailed and thorough internal investigation' following his dropped criminal charges.
Greenwood, who has not featured for the Red Devils since he was arrested in January 2022 for attempted rape, assault and coercive control, had his charges dropped in February and is now waiting to learn his fate in football.
The club have remained silent on the issue for several months while undergoing their own investigation.
But now, United's chief operating officer Collette Roche has finally opened up on the internal six-month probe.
