However, the error code won't appear on its own, without additional information from other sensors (G4 and G40).
It's a bit tricky to test because there are various pins on the connector, and each one has different functions. The best method for doing this is by measuring the resistance between the ECU and the sensor. If the sensor is functional, it should read approximately 1000 ohms. If you're experiencing issues with this part, check for signs of oil or coolant in the connector bay.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, while accelerating at full speed from the highway paytoll, I experienced an abrupt drop in power as if the engine was running out of gas or injectors aren't firing anymore. I pulled out the spark plugs this morning, 3 were soaked in gasoline, and the fourth was unclean. When i crank the engine with no sparks i put tissue on the top of each hole in the injector and the 3 drenched with gazoline leap out, however the 4th one stays closed. I tried to test the ground connections of ECU pins 14,30 and 48/55. I got 0ohm. I think the issue is in another location.
I also tried to reset the PID without success. The car is able to start when the G28 is unplugged and runs fine when it is connected however it is experiencing intermittent misfires at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for coolant (G62) shows the wrong temperature of -49c even when i unplug it. Also, i noticed that the oil pressure gauge in the cockpit is showing 2 bar when the actual pressure is 0.0 if i crank up the engine.
I'm not certain what to do, as i believe that i've eliminated everything else. I'm worried that i might have missed something. Let me know if you have any ideas! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
