World of Warcraft - item upgrades Upgrade

Item upgrade allows players to raise the item level of weapons and armor that are equippable. This increases the stats of that equipment, in addition to sometimes adding buffs or rerolling an affix.

The NPC for upgrading items can be found in the game. Typically, these NPCs are located in major cities or questing areas. Players can also find upgraders in dungeons that have high-level bosses and by talking to NPCs in their garrisons for their faction.
