Locations

The Exam Schedule lists the locations in which DEP conducts operator qualification exams. If you require special accommodations due to a chronic illness or visual or hearing impairment, please contact the exam provider directly and be sure to submit a thorough documentation upon registration.

Faculty can find their exam times via the "View My Teaching Schedule" task on the Faculty Dashboard in Workday. For evening classes, final exams are scheduled at the regular class time during the final week of exams.

Registration

Students are advised to check the exam schedule online. It is important to note that the schedule for exams can change at any time. Students should therefore consult their instructors to confirm the exact time and date of their test. Students should also make certain to print the official list and bring it with them to their exam.

Students must also familiarize themselves with the guidelines and terms of the exam, in addition to the exam schedule. These are accessible on the exam's individual page. Students acknowledge that they have read and accepted the terms and conditions of registration.

Exam locations make every effort to accommodate students who have special requirements. If a student is scheduled to take three exams on the same day, they must contact their department or instructor to arrange for a make-up test. You must pay an examination fee in order to obtain the Goethe-Zertifikat (start German 1) after you have completed your Elan Academy studies. This is in addition to the course fee.

Practice assessments allow you to get a feel for the style of the test, the language, and the difficulty of the questions on the test. They allow you to assess your knowledge, spot gaps and improve your chances of acing the exam.

Please take note that the fee for exams is not refundable. Exam results can only be emailed and not via telephone.
