Path of Exile item upgrade Upgrading

Item upgrading allows players to upgrade their weapons and gear with new affixes, boosting its base stats or giving additional benefits. To upgrade an item, the player needs to have it in their inventory as well as access to the kiln.

Items that have weak bases, such as rings, can be upgraded into stronger bases. Items with strong bases, such as Titans from eth, have no change in their stats.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets, and gathering tools. They provide an attribute bonus or an additional benefit, while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, gathered in loot, dropped by enemies, or obtained as rewards from missions or chests. Some upgrades can have additional cosmetic effects. Most upgrades require that the equipment be at a certain level before they can be upgraded.

In order to upgrade a weapon or piece of armor, the player must select it and then click on the Upgrade button in the toolbar. This will show a preview on the right side of the screen, showing what the expected upgrade stats will be, as well as the required element or material required to make that happen.

There are three kinds of upgrade components including universal upgrades, prefix upgrades, and suffix upgrades. Universal upgrades, such as gems, are able to be placed on any type of equipment. Leveling

Path of Exile's upgrade process is different from previous versions in several key ways. When a piece of equipment is upgraded to its highest level it can be eligible to be given affixes that increase its features. The number of affixes that are available will depend on the item's class. For example the rare or exclusive weapon with a base that is normal will have only two affixes available for it, while legendary armors will have up to eight affixes for it.

Each upgrade requires the use of a certain amount of Flightstones and crests to complete based on the item's current level and the item slot it's in. Weapons typically require more Flightstones than other equipment.

If an item doesn't attain its maximum level, the NPC gives the player the choice to transfer it to a different character and re-infuse the item with a different set of upgrades. The process can take as long as two hours and costs the same amount of material but will result in lower chances of success.

To determine the height of a building, engineers will use a level to compare the measurement to a known reference point such as a benchmark or the ground's elevation. This process is called a "level loop." It involves taking readings using the level and backsight rod before turning the level to make the foresight rod reading. Rerolling

Rerolling refers to the process of altering an item level upgrade's upgrade components. Reroll tokens are derived by recycling upgraded items. These tokens can be used to upgrade the original item or another item of the same type. Recyclable items have a gauge that shows the level of upgrade. The cost and rarity of upgrading an item determines the level of filling.

Prior to this, certain upgrades were given priority affixes that made them more accessible for players to roll. This meant that you'd get the most crucial stats for your build more frequently than others.
