It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a looser rug with tassels that it needed to turn to get it out of the way. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to a regular schedule. Eufy's app lets you manage all the functions. It gives clear information and plenty of configuration options.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot vacuums/mowers available, and it provides an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent precision, and the app lets users fine-tune map coverage, create zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM, while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system incorporates intelligent carpet detectors that lift the pads up when they are close to soft surfaces in order to avoid contamination.

The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free center for maintenance which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station features an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust and allows for seven weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.

6. S10

This robot is just a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my office clean. It can also reach into the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses a laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D-map of your home so it can know what to stay clear of. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can block things like toys and dog bowls (but not the poop) unlike other vacuums.

Other great features include a self emptying dustbin as well as a mop that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also customize the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.

It has the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can differentiate between carpets and laminate with high-pile rugs. And, if you're looking to cut down on time, it can skip mopping in rooms that aren't soiled. It's a great choice when you have a mix of flooring in your home and don't want to spend the extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that can manage regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes, this little robot is an excellent option. It offers a broad range of features including a self-emptying dustbin as well as an additional water refill dock, and adjustable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can navigate around furniture legs and socks with ease. It can't pick knots in the rug and its battery drains quicker than other models we tested.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that offers an impressive suction and easy automation in a sleek design. It didn't perform as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, but it still did very well overall. It also includes a wide range of cleaning modes to meet your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for debris that is light to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for rooms with carpet. It will even remove and reconnect the mop pads, and not leave your carpets soaked.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot cleaner mop and vacuum that can be used even in small areas. It's extremely fast and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces well. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competitors, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has good suction power and can be configured to take photos of each object it picks (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as "not located', so that they won't be removed in future cleanings. The photos are secured and not connected to your account.

It does a great job of vaccuming but isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes you clip onto the bottom of the bot, and then it drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
