Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized using an app that can save your home's maps setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and how much water your mop uses.

A mapping function helps your robot navigate through rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles prevents it from running over furniture, wires or other toys. These are essential features to have in my house, stuffed with strewn-about toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and lift its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also stay clear of obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is more than any robot vacuum we have test so far. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad for a deep clean. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting system that will raise the pad as it moves from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad is capable of rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it to forget about it. You only need to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag occasionally.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it began to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

This is a very robust and well-rounded product with the only drawback being the fact that it's costly. But, the sheer number of features makes it a tempting alternative for anyone who wishes to ditch their old stick vacuums and mop. We highly recommend this model for those who can afford the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot hoover vacuum mop cleaner robot and mop is a premium combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart control system and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it was able to perform very well in all areas of the home, robot mop removing 98.4% of debris on all floor types and managing to lift long hair with no knots. The mops also performed admirably and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement as well as a strong dose cleaning solution.

The docking station is the primary selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable mopping, and dry the mop pads for you. It also comes with a real-time safety detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions with its smart controls.

Contrary to the other hybrid mops I tested and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. Additionally, its mops aren't as efficient in removing tough stains like those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's numerous high-end features, it still requires regular care and maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. It is also important to note that the mop pads that are bought separately, will need to be replaced periodically too.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey pricing and its extensive features I would recommend it to anyone with the money for it. If you're on a tight budget I suggest a more basic model that allows you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best rated robot vacuum robot mop and vacuum you could purchase, its high price and ongoing maintenance will make it seem more a want than need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to get rid of messes and clean dirt off your floors. This powerful robovac/mop set-up has a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It has a mop with a roller that cleans itself and makes it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is nearly the entire length of the robot and it gets a constant supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. As it rotates, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the heater elements of the tank and empty into a larger storage container. The tank onboard holds plenty of water, and it can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do other robotic vacuums/mops. It does need to be filled with clean water, but this is simple to do by cleaning the dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you decide to choose to use this feature you'll have to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot vacuum that vacuums and mops brands that permit you to use your personal cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my tests however this can be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides lots of features at a reasonable cost.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum but it does have some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing the mop pads as they go. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is ideal for removing pet hair and debris on carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is fairly dense, offering a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean all areas mapped by this device or select individual rooms, expandable zone, or a routine you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mop to map the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

The Qrevo performed well in our tests, just like the other Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system is robust it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat fashion. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a room, with no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well too, but it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as thick carpets but may not be able to detect smaller objects such as rug tassels and electrical wires.

One of the biggest flaws of this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option, which could be an issue for people who are frequently vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. You can use the mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and dirt that remained after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that helps this robot hoover to clean up a bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
